Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage month-end close activities, oversee revenue recognition processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including high-volume revenue journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Lead the design and automation of transactional revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards
• Monitor and reconcile multi-currency payment flows, identifying anomalies and ensuring accuracy of revenue data

Required qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with fintech or payments companies
• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred
• Experience with US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance
• Expert knowledge of Excel and experience with databases and SQL
• Ability to analyze high-volume transactions in a global business environment
