Senior Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
To support the Finance & Accounting team, the fully remote Senior Revenue Accountant will manage the monthly revenue close process, oversee ASC 606 technical accounting, and collaborate with Sales and Deal Desk to structure compliant customer agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Own the accounting analysis for customer contracts and ensure compliance with ASC 606
- Lead the monthly revenue close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate deal structures and identify revenue recognition implications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting within a SaaS or subscription-based business
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
- Experience reviewing customer contracts and interpreting revenue recognition implications
- Experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) or comparable ERP revenue management systems
