Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage various accounting duties including preparing journal entries, conducting financial analyses, and monitoring general ledger accounts, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accurate recording of financial activities
• Analyze budget variances and prepare quarterly and annual regulatory filings in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and provide training to junior accounting staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Five years of related experience in a computerized accounting environment
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles and systems for maintaining general ledgers and preparing financial statements
• Ability to conduct complex analyses of accounting issues and systems
• Experience in developing and improving accounting procedures and processes
