Senior Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage revenue recognition processes, ensure compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review customer contracts and lease agreements to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842
- Analyze contract terms and pricing structures to determine appropriate revenue treatment for cloud hosting and leasing arrangements
- Manage deferred revenue schedules and perform monthly reconciliations while identifying process improvements for revenue operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, specifically in revenue accounting
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842, with familiarity in ASC 326 preferred
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
