Senior Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
To ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606, oversee monthly revenue close processes, and collaborate cross-functionally in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and execute revenue recognition activities, including assessment of complex customer contracts and deal structures
- Perform and oversee monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Lead monthly analytical reviews to identify revenue trends and communicate recommended actions to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or technical accounting
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to complex scenarios
- Experience with ERP and billing systems; familiarity with Sage Intacct and/or BillingPlatform is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities during close cycles
