Senior Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
Owning revenue recognition and reporting in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Revenue Accountant will ensure compliance with AASB 15 / ASC 606, manage month-end close processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize revenue treatment as the company scales.
Key responsibilities
- Own revenue recognition end to end, ensuring compliance with relevant standards across all revenue streams and entities
- Prepare and review month-end revenue journals, accruals, and deferred revenue schedules
- Partner with the AR team to ensure accurate billing and collections data flows into the ledger and reporting
Required qualifications
- CA or CPA qualified, or near completion
- 7+ years of experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or audit, ideally with exposure to SaaS or subscription revenue
- Strong working knowledge of AASB 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Experience operating in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
- Comfortable working in an ERP environment with imperfect data and building controls around maturing systems
