Senior Revenue Accountant CPA

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and motivated, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant CPA will support SAAS revenue recognition by ensuring compliance with ASC 606, validating sales-related transactions, and contributing to the monthly revenue close process while working onsite in North Carolina or Indiana.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue and related balance sheet accounts are recorded in compliance with ASC 606 and company policies
• Prepare journal entries and perform detailed analyses to support the monthly close process
• Reconcile revenue-related accounts, including deferred revenue and contract assets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master's degree is a plus
• 2-3 years of experience in revenue recognition or related accounting roles
• CPA certification and/or public accounting experience is highly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606, particularly for SAAS revenue models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, solution-oriented mindset
