Senior Revenue Accounting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Revenue Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of four, overseeing revenue monthly close and reporting activities
• Review customer contracts and provide revenue recognition input during contract negotiations
• Perform technical accounting research, prepare accounting position papers, and implement new accounting pronouncements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• 10+ years of management experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606
• Experience in a similar role in a publicly traded software company is preferred
