Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist will focus on collecting aging medical insurance claims, filing claims, researching denials, and ensuring the integrity of each claim billed.

Key responsibilities

• File claims using appropriate forms and attachments, and research account denials to file written appeals when necessary
• Evaluate client information to determine billing insurance and gather necessary documentation for claims
• Document all efforts in the CUBS system and maintain confidentiality of account information

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 1 - 3 years of experience in insurance billing preferred
• Knowledge of all insurance payers preferred
• Proficient PC knowledge with typing ability of 30-40 wpm
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
