Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst will ensure compliance with US GAAP by conducting contract reviews of SaaS agreements, documenting revenue conclusions, and advising on optimal agreement structures while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct contract reviews and document revenue conclusions in accordance with ASC 606 standards
- Collaborate with Sales and Legal teams to optimize agreement structures that align with corporate strategy
- Review revenue reconciliations and assist with financial close processes in partnership with the Revenue Accounting team
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA accreditation preferred
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience with a focus on revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP
- Proficiency in ASC 606 and SOX accounting standards
- Experience in researching technical accounting topics and drafting technical accounting memos
- Strong MS Excel skills and ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
