Senior Risk Analyst

Job Summary

To support the growth of lending portfolios, the full-time Senior Risk Analyst will develop underwriting strategies, collaborate with modeling teams to enhance risk strategies, and create dashboards for performance analysis in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop underwriting strategies to improve loan portfolio performance and meet business objectives
• Interface with the Modeling/Scoring team to deploy risk strategies based on new models
• Build and automate complex queries and dynamic reports to enhance credit risk insights

Required qualifications

• BS/MS in a quantitative discipline or equivalent working experience
• 4+ years of experience in credit risk or analytical roles within financial services
• Familiarity with data from credit bureaus and third-party data providers
• High proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, or SAS; knowledge of Python or R is a plus
• Experience with A/B testing and data visualization tools like Sigma or Tableau is a plus
