Senior Risk Assessment Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Principal Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PRA development efforts supporting reactor design and safety analysis
• Coordinate PRA work with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure PRA aligns with regulatory guidance and develop risk models

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering with 5+ years' experience; M.S. with 3+ years; or Ph.D. with 1+ year
• Proficiency in PRA principles and ASME/ANS Non-Light Water PRA standard
• Experience with fault tree/event tree development, preferably using CAFTA
• Familiarity with safety codes such as GOTHIC, MELCOR, or RADTRAD is a plus
• Experience with SFR and/or Molten Salt Reactor safety analysis is highly desirable
