Senior Risk Investigator

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of complex investigations, the full-time Senior Risk Investigator will proactively monitor and investigate fraud and payment risk across the merchant portfolio in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily merchant activity to identify unusual patterns and fraud indicators
• Investigate high-risk transaction activity, collaborating with banks and partners as necessary
• Provide guidance and support for escalated cases while mentoring junior investigators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, or economics, or equivalent experience
• Five plus (5+) years of experience in risk, fraud, and financial crime in payments
• Demonstrated ability to perform fraud investigations and risk activities for merchant accounts
• Experience in mentoring and coaching junior investigators
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions
