Senior Risk Manager

Job Summary

Owning all aspects of risk management in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Risk Manager will build risk frameworks, design protocols for liquidations, and establish monitoring systems for exposure on the exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Build the risk framework, defining parameters for open interest, position sizes, leverage tiers, and margin requirements
• Design liquidation and insurance fund protocols to manage risk and establish hedging processes
• Build risk monitoring infrastructure to provide continuous visibility into account health and exchange solvency

Required qualifications

• Deep trading experience with a background at a trading firm or exchange
• Hands-on experience managing liquidations in live markets
• Strong understanding of major crypto exchanges and their operations
• In-depth knowledge of margin mechanics and funding rates in crypto derivatives
• Ability to act decisively under pressure with real money at stake
