Senior Risk Manager

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the full-time Senior Risk Manager will oversee enterprise-wide risk management and insurance programs, collaborating with senior leadership to develop frameworks and strategies for risk identification, analysis, and mitigation while supporting NFPA's mission.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor risk identification, assessment, and reporting across the organization, ensuring engagement with risk strategies
• Administer property and casualty and liability insurance programs, including broker management and insurance renewals
• Support the Board of Directors by preparing and presenting materials on critical risk management matters

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited institution
• Seven (7) years of experience in a complex organization
• Demonstrated success in facilitating partnerships among diverse groups
• Excellent relationship management skills with key stakeholders
• Understanding of the alignment between effective risk treatment and organizational priorities
