Senior Risk Mitigation Manager
Job Summary
Managing the end-to-end risk processes during the commercial phase, the full-time Senior Risk Mitigation Manager will serve as a subject matter expert in contract negotiations and compliance, focusing on U.S. Government contracting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the review, negotiation, and compliance of U.S. Government contracts, ensuring adherence to FAR/DFARS and other regulatory requirements
- Negotiate and redline complex commercial agreements, analyzing and mitigating associated risks to align with business objectives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide strategic commercial support and ensure seamless contract handover to execution teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering, or a related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in government contracts, contract management, and commercial risk mitigation
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. Government contracting, including knowledge of FAR/DFARS and compliance standards
- Deep understanding of various contract types, including Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursement
- Experience with CRM systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
