Senior Risk Underwriter, Workers' Comp

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Risk Underwriter specializing in Workers' Compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit comprehensive underwriting packages to insurance carriers for PEO clients
• Ensure accurate assignment of workers' compensation class codes based on client operations and payroll details
• Manage daily employee underwriting processes and resolve payroll-related issues affecting underwriting

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in workers' compensation risk and underwriting, preferably in a PEO or global HR services organization
• Strong understanding of workers' compensation, OSHA reporting, and claims reporting procedures
• Deep working knowledge of PrismHR configuration from a workers' comp perspective is preferred
• Experience in client-facing roles with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
