Senior Royalty Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting royalty accounting for US Trade and Macmillan Learning, the full-time Senior Royalty Accountant will manage general ledger accuracy, perform account reconciliations, and assist with process improvements in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform royalty accounting close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis
• Reconcile royalty sub-ledger balances to the SAP general ledger and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with audit support schedules and documentation of workflows for accounting process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 4-6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in royalty accounting or publishing
• Expert proficiency in SAP, including GL posting and account reconciliation
• Advanced Excel skills for managing and reconciling large data sets
• Solid understanding of IFRS and experience with royalty systems like Vista and/or Fadel (IPM)
