Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst will lead the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of business-critical IBM i applications while working remotely across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with clients to resolve application issues and deliver solutions throughout the project lifecycle
• Architect and develop applications using RPG and SQL, ensuring quality through various testing phases
• Guide a small technical team and run code reviews for database and logic changes

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience on the IBM i (iSeries / AS/400) platform with proven problem-solving skills
• Advanced mastery of RPG, particularly RPGLE, including free-form syntax and embedded SQL
• Expert-level DB2 application programming and database design capabilities
• Strong command of modern ILE concepts such as modules, service programs, and binding directories
• Comfort with structured deployment and version control processes
