Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting and enhancing business-critical applications in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst will design, develop, and maintain applications on IBM i / AS400 while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support applications on IBM i / AS400 using RPG, RPGLE, CL, and IBM i SQL
• Analyze business and technical requirements to translate them into effective solutions within client environments
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes to improve application stability

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in IBM i / AS400 application development
• Hands-on proficiency with RPG / RPGLE
• Experience with CL and IBM i SQL
• Working knowledge of Synon2/E (COOL 2/E)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
