Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst

Job Summary

To support critical IBM i applications and EDI integrations, the full-time remote Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst will lead the analysis, design, development, and support of solutions while collaborating with clients and technical teams to modernize legacy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead EDI initiatives by designing, developing, and enhancing Cleo Extol EDI solutions for seamless integration
• Consult with clients to analyze business requirements and troubleshoot application and EDI issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Architect and develop applications using RPG, RPGLE, Free-Form RPG, Embedded SQL, and DB2 for i

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience developing and supporting enterprise solutions on IBM i (iSeries / AS400)
• Strong Cleo Extol (EDI) experience, including mapping, translation, and maintaining production EDI environments
• Deep knowledge of RPG, including RPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE, and modern ILE development practices
• Expertise in EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML
• Advanced skills in DB2 for i, including database design and SQL programming
