Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting and enhancing business-critical applications remotely, the full-time Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst will design, develop, and maintain applications on IBM i / AS400 while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support applications on IBM i / AS400 using RPG, RPGLE, CL, and IBM i SQL
- Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver effective solutions and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring applications are stable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in IBM i / AS400 application development
- Hands-on proficiency with RPG / RPGLE
- Experience with CL and IBM i SQL
- Working knowledge of Synon2/E (COOL 2/E)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
