Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of business-critical IBM i applications, the full-time remote Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst will architect solutions, support clients with application issues, and ensure software integrity through testing and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with clients to identify business needs and deliver solutions throughout the full project life cycle
- Analyze, design, code, and test software applications using RPG and SQL
- Lead code reviews and ensure program integrity through various testing phases
Required qualifications
- 20+ years of proven experience with the IBM i (iSeries/AS/400) platform
- Mastery of RPG, especially RPGLE with Free-form syntax and embedded SQL
- Hands-on experience with JDA/MMS ERP systems
- Expert-level DB2 application programming and database design skills
- Deep understanding of ILE concepts, including Modules and Service Programs
