Senior RPG Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Senior RPG Software Engineer will plan, analyze, and implement web and Windows software applications while ensuring quality assurance and following best practices in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, analyze, and implement web and Windows software applications
- Conduct quality assurance activities including unit testing and bug reporting
- Enhance technical policies and standards by following new technology and best practices
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of programming experience
- Experience with Scott Klement's HTTPLIB APIs, RPGIV/ILE/FREE
- Database experience including table/index creation and creating/consuming web services
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and event-driven application development
- SQL Server experience, including writing stored procedures and interacting with SQL Server databases using .NET
