Senior Ruby Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Ruby Engineer will design, implement, and deliver scalable applications for government partners, focusing on modernizing legacy systems to enhance user experiences and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and government partners to architect and deploy new systems and improvements
• Participate in agile development to efficiently ship features that meet user needs
• Create tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack engineering, particularly with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Proven experience working on large-scale web-based systems, both front-end and back-end
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and architecture
• Experience with modern web development frameworks and automated testing
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
