Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Ruby on Rails Engineer who will take ownership of meaningful features and collaborate with a team to ensure code quality and system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new functionality based on product objectives and requirements
• Engage with the product engineering team to execute feature improvements and resolve bugs
• Support operations and infrastructure teams for issue resolution on relevant applications or services

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of practical industry experience building systems in Ruby on Rails
• Experience building and maintaining backend APIs
• Proficiency with various database technologies, both relational and non-relational
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to write clean code and effective automated tests
