Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

Job Summary

To support a transformative venture capital initiative, the remote Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer will own complex features from architecture to deployment, build reliable Rails systems, and collaborate closely with product and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex features end-to-end, ensuring accountability for what is shipped
• Build reliable, scalable Rails systems across the full stack, focusing on maintainable code
• Collaborate with product and design teams to make informed technical decisions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Ruby on Rails experience in production environments
• Deep understanding of Rails conventions, ActiveRecord, and RESTful API design
• Experience with front-end technologies and building functional UI
• Active use of AI coding tools in daily workflow
• Excellent written communication skills for clear PR descriptions and technical comments
