Senior Rust Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to join their Custom Software Development consulting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Rust and implement Clean Architecture with CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns
• Build gRPC services for inter-service communication and optimize data access layers using SQLx
• Triage and resolve production support tickets for Rust-based microservices running on Azure Kubernetes Service

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building backend services with Rust and 3+ years in production microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and actor-based concurrency patterns
• Experience designing gRPC APIs and proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of software projects
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and observability tooling
