Senior Safety Analysis Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of safe, AI-powered autonomous driving platforms, the full-time Senior Safety Analysis Engineer will focus on functional safety of compute and communications platforms, ensuring compliance with safety metrics while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Propose new methods and refine existing practices for analyzing HW fault metric compliance
• Conduct analysis using fault trees and model-based techniques to derive diagnostic measures
• Integrate safety analysis methodologies across systems, software, and hardware to meet safety targets

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience in systems architecture or related fields
• Experience in safety analysis of embedded systems at both hardware and software levels
• Competence in safety analysis methods such as FTA, FMEA, and FMEDAs
• Familiarity with safety standards like ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and ISO/PAS 21448
