Senior Safety Medical Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Safety Medical Evidence & Insights Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify evidence gaps and develop Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs)
• Monitor and analyze the safety profiles of products and competitors to generate relevant insights
• Lead the design and protocol development of postmarketing safety studies and communicate findings to stakeholders

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Medical Degree preferred; PhD, PharmD, or similar degree may be accepted based on experience
• Strong medical/scientific background with a focus on patient safety
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading scientific/clinical projects in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Good working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP)
• Willingness to travel up to 10-20% of the time as needed
