Senior Safety V and V Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Safety Verification and Validation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain assessment bases to support safety evaluations
• Identify uncertainties within experimental data and develop benchmark models
• Coordinate and execute safety code verification and validation activities

Qualifications & Skills

• Extensive experience with nuclear safety software verification and validation
• Strong understanding of nuclear thermal-hydraulic fundamentals and reactor dynamics
• Proven expertise with safety analysis methodologies and NRC RG 1.203
• Advanced degree in nuclear engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience
• Experience working within NQA-1 quality assurance programs and multidisciplinary teams
