Job Summary
As the technical quarterback for strategic opportunities, the full-time Senior Sales Engineer will partner with Account Executives to lead technical evaluations, architect custom proof-of-concept implementations, and serve as a trusted advisor to prospects while working remotely in the Northeast.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical evaluation phases for deals, conducting deep discovery and designing hands-on proof-of-concepts
- Collaborate with Product Management and Customer Success to align technical requirements and ensure smooth implementation handoffs
- Contribute to competitive intelligence and develop reusable demo assets and technical content for the sales engineering team
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in software pre-sales, sales consulting, or technical account management roles
- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in writing joins, aggregations, and window functions
- Track record of successfully closing technical evaluations in competitive enterprise deals
- Ability to present technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders
- Comfort with nuanced technical concepts and a self-learning mindset
