Job Summary

Acting as a subject matter expert in telecom security, the full-time Senior Sales Engineer - Security will provide technical leadership during sales engagements, support demos and trials, and engage with customer engineering teams remotely across the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a SecOps subject matter expert, engaging in discussions on modern application security and vulnerability management
  • Provide technical support to account teams to ensure optimal Ribbon solution selection and assist with RFP/RFI responses focused on security capabilities
  • Interface with customers and Ribbon engineering to address security requirements and maintain strong account relationships
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in software vulnerabilities and exposure management, including CVE processes
  • 8+ years of experience working with VoIP standards and applications in telecom environments
  • Strong understanding of IP networking and cloud-native networking technologies
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
  • Experience with security reviews, audits, and onboarding processes related to vulnerability and patch management
