Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Benefits Administration, the full-time Senior Salesforce Developer will develop applications, refine business requirements, and lead integration efforts within the Salesforce platform in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications and solutions within the Salesforce platform and lead the development lifecycle from design through testing and release
• Elaborate and refine business requirements, mapping them to Salesforce capabilities while writing code and building integrations with back-office systems
• Lead and develop Mulesoft applications for various internal and external integrations with Salesforce, troubleshooting user issues and fixing bugs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical field, with 8+ years of experience
• Proficient in Salesforce.com, Sales Cloud, and/or Service Cloud design and implementation
• Demonstrated experience using Mulesoft and strong programming skills in Salesforce platform languages (Apex, JavaScript)
• Experience developing APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP) and delivering on an Agile delivery schedule
• Salesforce Certifications and Trailhead Badges are preferred
