Senior SAP ASE DBA

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior SAP ASE / Sybase DBA to support a Federal Customer in a cybersecurity modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical mapping of legacy SAP ASE / Sybase data attributes to modern identity management systems
• Develop and implement data architecture strategies for database modernization and decommissioning
• Oversee performance monitoring, installation, troubleshooting, and tuning of SAP ASE / Sybase databases

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ASE / Sybase administration
• 10+ years of expertise in SAP ASE / Sybase T-SQL, including debugging and optimization
• 4+ years of experience in schema design and data modeling
• Experience with cloud-native ETL and data integration tools
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
