Senior SAP Basis Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr SAP Basis Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for planning and scheduling technical maintenance and upgrades for client SAP landscapes
• Perform project-based and production support, including SAP system migrations and ongoing maintenance activities
• Build and maintain documentation for problem resolution and engage in root cause analysis with development teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or equivalent work experience
• 8-10 years of relevant hands-on SAP Basis engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience as an SAP Basis engineer in a 24x7 environment
• Solid background administering SAP HANA and Sybase databases
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and familiarity with agile engineering practices
