Senior SCADA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior SCADA Engineer - Battery Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ignition based SCADA systems and associated platforms
• Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, RTUs, and other related equipment
• Provide technical support and maintain documentation of development processes and system configurations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in a related field; electrical engineering degree preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of related industry experience, preferably in renewable energy
• Experience with battery energy storage systems and SCADA/PLC platforms
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and programming languages such as Python and C++
• Understanding of cyber-security best practices and NERC/CIP/NIST procedures
