Senior Scala Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scala Senior Software Engineer (Spark) for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client business requirements and negotiate solutions with stakeholders
• Write and maintain scalable enterprise-quality software and develop new applications
• Manage the complete software development life cycle and support Big Data applications

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Scala development experience, specifically with Scala 2.12/2.13
• Strong experience with Spark and Kafka, including building data pipelines
• Enterprise experience with NoSQL implementation and ETL development
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Willingness to learn new technologies and deliver working software
