Senior Scalability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Scalability Engineer focused on streaming and realtime systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and expand streaming infrastructure, implementing WAL-based replication systems for high-volume data processing
• Architect and implement change data capture systems for cross-platform data synchronization and realtime analytics
• Develop shared libraries and establish best practices for event processing and observability across teams

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on technical leadership
• 3+ years of experience in architecting distributed systems or streaming infrastructure
• Strong expertise in Python and deep knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Proven experience with high-throughput streaming systems using platforms like Kinesis or Kafka
• Production experience with AWS services relevant to streaming and data processing
