Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Scheduling & Authorization Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled patients
  • Schedule complex exams while managing high call volumes and ensuring patient education
  • Monitor and manage communications, including emails and faxes, for assigned practices
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Scheduling & Authorization Coordinator
  • High school diploma or GED; an associate degree or 2+ years in related fields preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in customer service or client relations
  • Experience in an office or hospital environment preferred
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and IT systems is preferred
