Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Scheduling & Authorization Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled patients
- Schedule complex exams while managing high call volumes and ensuring patient education
- Monitor and manage communications, including emails and faxes, for assigned practices
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Scheduling & Authorization Coordinator
- High school diploma or GED; an associate degree or 2+ years in related fields preferred
- Two or more years of experience in customer service or client relations
- Experience in an office or hospital environment preferred
- Familiarity with scheduling software and IT systems is preferred
