Senior Scientific Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SERM Senior Scientific Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead medical and scientific staff within the SERM, driving clinical safety and pharmacovigilance strategies
• Ensure review and interpretation of safety data, managing safety issues and making recommendations for risk communication
• Support pharmacovigilance and benefit-risk management for global assets to ensure patient safety

Required Qualifications

• Health Sciences/Health Care Professional degree (e.g., BSc, MS, PhD, RN/BSN/MSN, NP, RPh/B Pharm/Pharm D)
• Relevant experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or safety evaluation in the industry
• Experience in clinical development and post-marketing safety activities, including signal detection
• Familiarity with global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidance
• Proven experience working effectively in a matrix organization
