Job Summary
To shape and execute the scientific strategy for therapeutic portfolios in the preclinical pipeline, the full-time Senior Scientific Portfolio Manager will oversee complex grant lifecycle processes, manage stakeholder relationships, and communicate scientific progress while working onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and articulates a scientific perspective for assigned portfolios, integrating insights from scientific trends and stakeholders
- Manages portfolios through all stages of grant-making, including opportunity sourcing, proposal development, and milestone management
- Conceptualizes and implements departmental RFAs and RFPs, providing feedback for process improvement
Required Qualifications
- PhD with relevant experience in biotech, biopharma, or healthcare consulting
- Demonstrated experience in therapeutic development and translational research, preferably in Parkinson's disease
- Strong track record in scientific management of programs and portfolios
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific and technical information into actionable insights
- Initiative to identify portfolio needs and incorporate input from cross-functional stakeholders
