Senior Scientific Project Manager

Job Summary

To support a biopharmaceutical client, the full-time salaried Senior Scientific Project Manager - Molecular will manage project oversight for analytical testing and method development, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) while collaborating with internal and external teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of bioanalytical assays and manage ex vivo bioanalytical projects
• Coordinate with CROs to develop and validate assays for mRNA, proteins, and oligonucleotides, focusing on nervous system-related tissues
• Provide analytical project oversight, including data review and trending analysis, while managing operational documentation and compliance

Required qualifications

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field, with a focus on RNA biology preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bioanalytical assay development for RNA-based therapeutics
• Proven experience in overseeing collaborations with CROs and internal teams
• Deep experience in bioanalysis of tissues from rodent and NHP models
• Hands-on expertise in nucleic acid quantification methods and molecular assay development
