Senior Scientist, Biologics

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative biologic therapeutics, the remote Senior Scientist, Biologics will manage analytical method development, product characterization, and provide analytical support for process development activities involving microbial and mammalian expression systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for biologic products
• Characterize recombinant proteins and protein conjugates using various analytical techniques
• Oversee analytical activities performed by CROs and support technology transfer activities

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in process development
• PhD in a scientific or engineering discipline required; equivalent experience may be considered
• Demonstrated technical expertise and scientific creativity
• Proficiency with analytical software, such as Waters Empower
• Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is preferred
