Senior Scientist, Computational Materials

Job Summary

To accelerate innovation in materials science, the full-time remote Senior Scientist, Computational Materials will develop and apply computational solutions, support product development through AI/ML and predictive simulations, and integrate experimental data to guide R&D efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply molecular, statistical, and computational solutions to investigate material behavior and guide materials design
• Support product and technology development programs through predictive simulations and optimization
• Communicate modeling assumptions and results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong foundation in computational materials science, molecular modeling, and scientific computing
• Experience supporting research or early-stage technology development
• Hands-on experience with Python and scientific libraries such as NumPy and TensorFlow
• Working knowledge of model verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification
