Job Summary
To accelerate innovation in materials science, the full-time remote Senior Scientist, Computational Materials will develop computational solutions, support product development through AI/ML and predictive simulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into scalable technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and apply molecular and statistical solutions to investigate material behavior and guide materials design
- Support product and technology development programs through predictive simulations and optimization
- Integrate simulation data and experimental results to support hypothesis generation and model-based interpretation
Required qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or related scientific discipline
- Strong foundation in computational materials science, molecular modeling, and scientific computing
- Experience in research, experimentation, or early-stage technology development
- Hands-on experience with Python and scientific libraries such as NumPy and TensorFlow
- Working knowledge of model verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification
