Senior Scientist, Formulation Development

Job Summary

Leading formulation and process development projects, the remote Senior or Principal Scientist will focus on advancing drug product development and lifecycle management for novel formulations and existing oncology products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects supporting the development of novel and existing formulations throughout the product lifecycle
• Design and execute formulation and process development experiments in collaboration with contract laboratories and CDMOs
• Serve as a subject matter expert and support technical writing for intellectual property and regulatory filings

Required qualifications

• Ph.D/M.S./B.S. in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical development, with specific industry experience based on degree level
• Demonstrated experience with formulation development for small molecule drugs
• Deep understanding of formulation techniques for sterile, parenteral dosage forms
• Experience with physicochemical characterization methods for drug substances and products
