Senior Scientist, Formulation Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Scientist, Formulation Specialist, the successful candidate will design and characterize receptor-targeted lipid nanoparticle formulations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and execute ligand conjugation workflows to optimize targeted delivery systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, produce, and characterize receptor-targeted lipid nanoparticle formulations for in vitro and preclinical in vivo studies
• Identify and prioritize receptor-ligand pairs for targeted delivery applications based on biological rationale and experimental performance
• Establish and apply affinity, cellular uptake, and functional screening assays to evaluate targeted lipid nanoparticle constructs

Required qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry preferred; related fields such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering will be considered
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience following completion of a PhD or postdoctoral training
• Demonstrated experience with lipid nanoparticles, RNA therapeutics, and receptor-targeted delivery
• Excellent bench laboratory skills and strong interest in hands-on experimental work
• Experience with cell-based uptake or activity assays and supporting in vivo studies is highly desirable
