Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and talented Senior Scientist II, Computational Discovery to join the team full-time, focusing on identifying novel targets for cancer therapeutics through the development and application of computational methods for drug discovery, leveraging large clinico-genomic databases and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Utilize novel analytical methods on multi-modal data to identify targets in patient sub-populations
- Independently execute complex translational research projects integrating molecular and clinical data
- Communicate scientific findings and technical plans to diverse internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- PhD in a quantitative discipline or Life Sciences with a strong computational publication record
- 4+ years of experience leveraging genomic and multimodal data with machine learning approaches in complex diseases, particularly cancer
- Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL, with a strong understanding of Cancer, Genomics, and/or Immunology
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and complex projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information clearly
