Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesize ligands or nucleoside monomers and incorporate them into therapeutic oligonucleotides
• Perform bioconjugation of oligonucleotides to ligands targeting cell surface receptors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the research and development of breakthrough therapies

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Organic or Nucleic Acid Chemistry with at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience
• Experience in nucleoside/oligonucleotide synthesis and purification
• Proficiency in purification techniques such as ion exchange, reverse-phase, and size-exclusion chromatography
• Familiarity with automated lab equipment like NMR and LC-MS
• Track record of scientific productivity evidenced by high-quality publications and/or patents
